Happiness…

we’re all searching for it but do we really know it when we see it?

Depending on the approach you take, happiness can be a physical, spiritual, emotional, mental and energetic journey and sometimes, we need a little help to get there.

Society, while trying to tell us otherwise, tends to leave us in the lurch when it comes to being happy. We are told that if we have this, this and this, then BAM! Happiness is ours! But often we find this isn’t the case, and medication isn’t always the answer either.

I’ve struggled with my happiness. I’ve suffered from, and overcome an eating disorder. I’ve dealt with the repercussions of carrying the blame and rejection placed on me by others who struggled with their own unhappiness. I have lived on welfare and lived location free and what I’ve come to know with certainty, is that regardless of what your current reality looks like, if you want happiness, you have to choose it.

I have learned that happiness is a choice, which can be hard to hear for some. It was hard for me too, to realise that my unhappiness was of my own making. But once I realised the truth of this statement and once I started to own this truth, I found the strength to take the actions needed to bring happiness back into my life.

Now, I’m offering those actions to you through the Happiness Tool Kit. Over 7 audio sessions, I will guide you through the tools I personally used to help me reconnect with my mind and body, heart and soul to rediscover my inner happiness and how to bring it forward into my life once again.


Why should you work with me?

I have seen the effects of stress, depression, anxiety and unhappiness on others and felt them myself. I have struggled on welfare, worried about how to feed my children and pay the bills. I have overcome an eating disorder and the rejection of my family for not being who they wanted me to be. I have known what it feels like to be deeply unhappy to my core. Everything I share with you in this tool kit, is something I have used myself. When I say happiness is a choice, that is because for me, it is. You need to choose happiness, choose to take the actions that will help pull you out of the darkness and back into the light. If I can do this, I know you can too.

But it's not just through personal experience that I bring you these tools. I first studied the mind-body connection back in the early 2000’s as part of my uni degree in Human Movement. Since then, I have used the tools I will teach you to rediscover my own happiness in difficult times, along with helping family and friends do the same.
